In 2009, I earned my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. Over the past 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across a wide range of ages and settings, from toddlers as young as 12 months to seniors over 100 years old. Each experience has enriched my skills and deepened my passion for this field. Throughout my career, I always felt like something was missing. It wasn’t until I began working in schools that I realized my true passion—helping children in my community succeed, thrive, and reach their fullest potential. That realization sparked a desire to create something meaningful and impactful.
In 2023, during a conversation with my husband about future goals, he asked me why I hadn’t considered opening a private clinic. At first, the idea seemed daunting, but it quickly transformed into a question of, “Why not?” With his encouragement and my determination, I decided to turn this dream into reality.
Over the past year, I’ve collaborated with other professionals and learned from some of the best in the field to build a speech therapy clinic that I am deeply proud of. My goal is to create a welcoming space where children and their families feel supported as they work toward their communication goals. I am excited to serve my community and make a lasting impact through this endeavor.
Hi, I’m Whitney, a licensed Occupational Therapist and Autism Specialist with nearly 20 years of experience working with vulnerable populations. I believe that every child communicates in their own way, and that real progress begins when a child feels safe, understood, and connected.
I use a playful, relationship-based approach to help children build the skills they need for everyday life—such as regulation, engagement, communication, and independence. I meet each child where they are and create therapy sessions that feel supportive, meaningful, and fun.
I value close collaboration with families and other providers and am passionate about supporting children through a team-based approach. By working together, we can create care that feels consistent, supportive, and centered on each child.

I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with 5+ years of experience working with clients of all ages in a neuro based setting. I believe that kids thrive when they feel safe, comfortable, and supported, so I take time to build strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family. Through my experience in a neuro-based clinic, I have developed a strong understanding of the brain-body connection and how a child’s ability to feel calm and regulated can impact everything from play and learning to daily routines at home. I use this approach to guide my sessions, always meeting each child where they are and supporting their individual needs. I am especially passionate about helping families create smooth, and less stressful daily routines. My goal is to make everyday activities feel more manageable and enjoyable for both children and parents. As a provider certified in Central Nervous System Input (CNSI), I incorporate these techniques into therapy in a way that is gentle, supportive, and engaging for kids. I am passionate about working with kids of all ages and look forward to seeing all the growth that will take place at Thrive and Conquer!
